We're back with a new episode, this week we recap the Baker's Dozen run with a few different segments. We start with the interview we did with Tom Marshall at our live podcast event on Saturday, July 29 at American Beauty NYC. We're looking forward to doing more of these live events!

We also talked with 3 fans who did all 13 shows—Dianna, Joseph and Zach—who share some of their perspectives on the run.

We also play some music, of course. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks everyone who sent their own takes on the Baker's Dozen throughout the run. It was great to hear from so many fans.

If you can, review us on iTunes, and support HF Pod Plus!

For the Quick Hit for night 13 (glazed!), we're joined by our own Jonathan. We also do a quick conversation with Chris Pandolfi of The Infamous Stringdusters, who shares his take on the last night.

THANK YOU Phish and thank you to all of our supporters, especially those of you who came to the live event and those of you who sent in your own takes on the shows. Really fun.

Here's the setlist from night 13 and the JamBase coverage.

We keep it in the family this time for our Quick Hit from night 11 of the Baker's Dozen! Our own Jonathan fills us in on what went down in The Garden on Lemon night.

We have two listener submissions for short reviews today as well. You have two more chances to send in your thoughts about the shows tonight and tomorrow. Send them to helpingfriendlypodcast at gmail dot com.

As always, check out the setlist at Phish.net and Jambase's excellent writeup, "The Skinny."

Today's Quick Hit is a little longer than usual, because we recap all 3 weeknd shows. Apologies for the delay, but hey we were seeing Phish shows, so we thought you'd understand. The 4 of us (Jonathan, Brad, RJ, Matt) break down the weekend shows and we play some music too. Of course.

This has been quite a run, and we're looking forward to what's next. We have 3 fan-submitted reviews from last night's show, so that's pretty cool. Keep them coming!

You can look at Phish.net for the setlists from the last 3 nights, and check out the Jambase coverage as well!

Thank you again to everyone who came out to support our live show at American Beauty. We will release the audio of that later this week! There will be more of these!

For today's Baker's Dozen recap (show 5, "powdered"), we're joined by our old friend Scott, who has been on the podcast before. We of course play some tunes and break down the show.

We also feature a review from Scott from last night. Keep those coming, they're great! Here's the setlist from last night. If you haven't yet, check out JamBase's "The Skinny" review of last night as well.

Guess what? Only TWO DAYS until our event at American Beauty (Saturday 7/29, 4pm). Come say hello, RSVP here.

Well, night 4 was certainly jam-filled. This was a show for the ages. We're joined by Chris and Shawn to break this down.

Chris played an integral role in the "Wilson" NFL Films piece, and Shawn has created the "Bakers Beat" for this run. We appreciate their contributions! We play some of the Lawn Boy and some of the Crosseyed & Painless. Wow.

We also feature two submissions we got last night from Seth and George. Keep them coming! Record your (<1 minute) own reviews and send email them to us (helping friendly podcast at gmail dot com).

Here's the Phish.net setlist and LivePhish.com link.

THREE DAYS until our live podcast recording Saturday, 7/29 in NYC. RSVP today!

And please support HF Pod Plus!

We're really excited to chat with Felicia today about her experience so far at MSG and, of course, donuts. She tells us about how the partnership between Federal Donuts and Phish came together, and how they actually pulled this thing off. Congrats to Federal Donuts for such an amazing contribution to this run. So much more in store.

We also play a bit of the Moma Dance from night 2, which Felicia especially appreciated.

If you're not familiar with Federal Donuts, they are based in Philly and just opened the first shop outside of Philadelphia, in Miami. They're also releasing a cookbook in September, and they do some awesome philanthropic work through Rooster Soup Co

We'll be back tomorrow with another Quick Hit from night 4 (jam is the theme!). If you haven't yet, RSVP for our live podcast recording this Saturday at American Beauty NYC.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.
